55 വയസ്സ് കഴിഞ്ഞ വയസ്സന്മാരുടെ ഒരു കൂട്ടായ്മയാണ് പ്രോബസ്സ് ക്ലബ്ബ്. പ്രൊഫഷണത്സ് & ബിസിനസ്സ് മെന്‍ എന്നതിന്റെ ചുരുക്കം പേരാണ് “പ്രോബസ്സ്.
എന്നെ ഇവിടെ ചേരാന്‍ താല്പര്യം പ്ര്കടിപ്പിച്ചത് തൃശ്ശൂര്‍ എലൈറ്റ് ആശുപത്രിയുടെ മേനേജിങ്ങ് പാര്‍ട്ടണര്‍ ആയ ഡോ. കെ. സി. പ്രകാശന്‍ ആണ്. ഇവിടെ എന്നെപ്പോലെയുള്ള നൂറില്‍ താഴെയുള്ള വയസ്സ്ന്മാര്‍ ഉണ്ട്.
ഞാന്‍ ഈ ക്ല്ബ്ബിന്റെ 2010-11 കാലയളവിലെ സെക്ര്ട്ടറി ആയിരുന്നു. എല്ലാ മാസത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യത്തെ ബുധനാഴ്ചയാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ തൃശ്ശൂരിലെ ഹോട്ടല്‍ പേള്‍ റീജന്‍സിയില് വൈകിട്ട് 7 മണിക്ക് ഒത്ത് കൂടാറ്. മിക്ക മാസങ്ങളിലും ഒരു ഗസ്റ്റ് സ്പീക്കറ് ഉണ്ടാകും. മിക്കവാറും വ്യത്യസ്ഥ മേഖലയിലുള്ള സ്പെഷ്യാലിറ്റി ഡോക്ടേര്‍സ് ആയിരിക്കും സ്പീക്കേര്‍സ്.
ഇത് കൂടാതെ കൃസ്തുമസ്സ്, പുതുവത്സരം, ഓണം എന്നിവ ആഘോഷിക്കാറുണ്ട്. വര്‍ഷത്തിലൊരിക്കല്‍ ഒരു ടൂറും.
ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ ഓണാഘോഷം ഇന്നെലെ ആയിരുന്നു. [14-09-2011] പെണ്ണുങ്ങളുടെ കൈകൊട്ടിക്കളിയായിരുന്നു എല്ലാ കൊല്ലത്തേയും പോലെയുള്ള പ്രധാന ആകര്‍ഷണം. പിന്നെ മെംബേര്‍സിന്റെ പാട്ടും, ക്വിസ്സും മറ്റു പരിപാടികളും.
ശ്രീമതി മേരിക്കുഞ്ഞിന്റെ കഥാപ്രസംഗവും. വര്‍ഗ്ഗീസ് മാഷ്, സുന്ദരേട്ടന്‍, ആന്റ്ണി കൊമ്മൊഡോര്‍, ജെയിംസ്, കല്ലറക്കല്‍, ഗീത മയൂരനാഥന്‍ മുതലായവരുടെ പാട്ടും പരിപാടികള്‍ക്ക് നിറമേകി.
കൈകൊട്ടിക്കളിക്ക് ഗീത മയൂരനാഥന്‍, അച്ചാമ കല്ലൂക്കാരന്‍, ശ്യാമ പ്രകാശ്, മേരിക്കുഞ്ഞ് തുടങ്ങി എട്ട് പേരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കളിക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കിയ ചേച്ചിയുടെ പേര്‍ ഓര്‍മ്മ വരുന്നില്ല. പിന്നിടെഴുതാം.
എല്ലാ പരിപാടികളും ക്ല്ബ്ബ് മെംബേര്‍സ് മാത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ വര്‍ഷം മാവേലിക്ക് അസുഖമായിരുന്നതിനാല്‍ എത്തിയില്ല. 7 മണിക്ക് തുടങ്ങി വിഭവസമൃദ്ധമായ ഓണസദ്യയോട് കൂടി 9 മണിക്ക് സമാപിച്ചു.
